Advertising research: The Gen Z food festival
I have create a food culture festival for Gen Z . And in this post i will discuss how advertise and market for Gen Z. Also how to get your target audience attention.
'Members of Gen Z are even more detached, engrossing themselves in technology. They grew up on social media and can research their way out of any predicament.(Credits Erica K. Brockmeier Write et al.)' This means Gen Z will always look at social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat. Twitter, And others like Google.
For my own Advert i will be marketing through social media platforms. As I was doing a research I found that (Hall, 2023). And I think Gen Z after Covid they all were looking for festival because they were looked down for 2 years so I think the festivals after the two years are boomed again and if that festival has free food also they will Absoluttly go to that festival. Can we wounder how they will found about that festival? ofcourse by social media. And now I will show you the statistic of engaging food with social media and festivals (Gelder, 2023).
'Young people have become more comfortable in the kitchen with increased time at home during the Covid-19 pandemic, which has provided an opportunity for younger eaters to learn new skills, while also trying new foods, textures and flavours. This has fuelled an emerging trend for sweet and savoury spices, with additions such as cinnamon, turmeric and chilli increasingly being worked into menus as Gen Z continue to become more adventurous eaters'().
So Social media is key for food festival, Popular social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok have quickly become incredible sources for food and cooking content for Gen Z (Collins, 2021).
So the Advert that I have created I think it will appeal to my Target Audince both in concept and in placement of the Advert.
