Welcome to my new blog!
Hello
My name is Nada Aldaboubi, I am 18 years old. I am a new interior design student at DMU. In this blog I will use it to show my interest in interior design and show my work progress and learnings throughout my foundation year.
From a young age, I have always been fascinated by the power of art and how it can transform a space. My mother is an interior designer and seeing her work and watching her create amazing designs and transform spaces as i grew up - I developed a passion for interior design as well, Recognising the importance of combining aesthetics with functionality to create a space that is not only beautiful but also practical.
As I was looking in my phone I've found this beautiful photo of an open plan kitchen and a dining room that inspired me. I am drawn to the endless possibilities of colour, texture, and form that can be used to create unique and inspiring spaces like the image above from the Oak dining table to the the glass wall that bring so much brightness and light into the area combining the outdoor and indoors together making the space look and feel airy and open.
Whether it’s a cozy home or a bustling office, I believe that well- designed spaces can enhance our quality of life and bring emotions that are fundamental to our well-being.
I am constantly seeking inspiration from various sources, from historical architecture to modern art, and strive to create designs that are both timeless and innovative.
Overall, my passion for art and interior design drives me to pursue a career in this field, where I can use my creativity and skills to bring beauty and functionality to people’s lives.
