Color Based On Emotions
I will research about Blue psychology and how colours could affect a space and people feelings. Knowing colour theory improves colour harmonisation in interior design. Choosing the right colour becomes important since they may create and atmosphere, change how someone feels and affects moods. Colours have a significant impact on human psychology and emotions. To create a variety of ambiances and moods, people usually design separate areas of their houses with different colour schemes, For example, they might use darker hues to make a bold statement or lighter colours to express a sense of freedom and peace (Create Beautiful 3D Designs, 2021).
according to my project it is very important to consider the colour and how it could affect on people life. Not only should the colour be chosen carefully, but also any hues undertones and the colours it will be paired with throughout the area either as painted surfaces or accessories so color psychology and theory is very important for my own project " The colors you choose to surround yourself with are key to determining how a space will make you feel " It’s not just about considering the color, but also its subtle undertones, and the colors it will be sitting alongside as either painted surfaces or accessories within the space"(Maheshwari, 2022).
Starting with the main colors (primary colours) can be useful when talking about room colour psychology. The colour wheel is based on these three colours: red, yellow, and blue. But I will delve deeper into the colour Blue because my project is related to it more than the other colours.
In one research on the psychology of colours in interior design, university student rated how much they liked each of six identical buildings for the hue of their interiors. The top option and colour considered to be the greatest for studying is Blue" Blue was the top color choice, and it was also considered the best for studying." (Stoneside, 2020). Blue, which is the main color in the "cool" family, has a connection with nature and is known to increase loyalty and intelligence (Stoneside, 2020).
Blue In Interior design
The Properties Of Blue In Interior Design
When use in interior design, the colour blue is flexible and can bring out a variety of sentiments and emotions. An important feature of blue is its ability to create relaxation in both the body and the psychological system. Studies have demonstrated that the colour blue can drop blood pressure, moderate heart rate, and lessen tension and anxiety "Blue has been shown to lower blood pressure, slow down heart rate, and reduce feelings of anxiety and stress"(floor-sanding, 2023) This makes it the perfect option for environments like living rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms where peace and relaxation are required (floor-sanding, 2023).
The colour blue's attraction with the sky and water is another characteristic. Blue is a fantastic colour option for smaller spaces that could use a sense of airiness and lightness since it produces an impression of openness and expansiveness. Furthermore, blue is a common colour for offices and workplaces as it is frequently connected to thinking and professionalism (floor-sanding, 2023).
When it comes to shades of blue, darker shades give emotions of depth and elegance for example, navy, and indigo. While lighter shades tend to be quieter and relaxing like, baby blue, and pastel blue. Overall, blue's qualities as a hue make it a flexible and useful option for achieving a variety of moods and feelings in a room (floor-sanding, 2023).
According to Maheshwari (2022) "A Travelodge survey of 2,000 U.K. homes looked into how the color of bedrooms impacts quality and duration of sleep," a design writer and author of ROY G. BIV: An Exceedingly Surprising Book About Colour. The colour blue emerged victorious, with blue-saturated sleepers averaging seven hours and fifty-two minutes of sleep each night. People are more able to relax because of the hue's association with peacefulness (Maheshwari, 2022).

According to Foyr (2021) colour psychology of red in interior design, the colour red is the most brilliant one of representing all the emotions, where it create a feeling of love and friendship, " the color red in all its shades inspires friendship and stimulates conversation. But the best utility for the color red is in the bedroom, where it kindles feelings of love, desire, and passion." weather if it was dark or light shades. also using the colour red in your design give your space a sense of energy and ethanusim. Furthermore, in order to balance human emotions, it is important to mix red with calming colours like beige or white because red inspires feelings of anger and revenge (Fory, 2021)

A bright yellow colour, which has a strong connection of emotions of hope and pleasure. In areas that doesnt recieve natural light, sunny yellow is a really good replacement for sunlight. where this colour of yellow may put a smile on your face and give you a boost of energy for example when you go to the kitchen. (Stoneside, 2020) But it must be the correct shade of yellow if its to bright it may stress you and make you uncomfortable which I am trying to stay away from this thing in my project, and if it was to dull, it could make you feel jealous or sick "too bright, and it can spark feelings of agitation, and a too-dull yellow may make you feel jealous or ill"(Stoneside, 2020).
