3D Project Process Part 1
in this post I will show my process of making the 3D outcome.
Firstly I got some materials that I will be using for the furniture and some other such as decoration. Mount Board, foam board, mirror board, and PVA glue, super glue, craft knife, and cutting matt. However, there are more materials that I will be using for my project but these are the materials that I use to do this.
before deciding to make the furniture by myself, I wanted to get the furniture ready form a store because i didn't have enough time to do the small furniture as they take a long time, And I did I ordered the furniture and i received only the template and some decoration pieces so i decided to make it by myself and use these templates to glue them to the things that I will be doing.
this is the sink of the kitchen which is 8 by 2
Then I used PVA glue to glue the template to the mountboard
here i tried to use PVA glue but it didn't work so I used Super glue instead. and I sticked the sink from the back of the mountboard to make it look more real.
Then I cut 2 same pieces as the size of the first one, for the sides front and back of the kitchen.
I then by using super glue i glued them together.
I cut the second template of the kitchen and i glue it to the front of the mount board to glue it.
Here i cut the template of the upper side of the kitchen and then glue it together to get this shape.
I got this glue which is better than the super glue because it is clear glue and give neat outcome that the super glue.
I cut the bathroom templates and i glue them to the mountboard. and i did the same i put the sink in the back to make it more realistic.
by using mount board i did a small table by cutting small squares and glueing them to the base two pieces was already ready so i just did the other part ad joined them together.
And then I used sandpaper to sand this piece of a really thin wood and i then coloured the edges of the piece with dark blue with acrylic marker.
Then I cut the same shape of the wood piece to the mirror sheet for the bathroom and i glue it the the wood piece
this is the outcome
