Experimentation

In this post I will share my experiment using watercolour and acrylic markers in my design sketches. I tried to expand the idea of my design and to play with the colours to see which hue of blue I will use, and this will assist me in determining which colour I will be using and to develop the 2D sketches and adding for details.

In a A3 paper I used acrylic marker and acrylic paints using the colour blue to see which hue of blue I will like the most and which one i may use for my sketches.

Firstly, after I finished with doing my sketches and made more than one copy to make experiments for the colours. what I did first is i used ink pen to outline the sketch so I can use the watercolours.

this is the final one after trying the colour blue with watercolours. However, firstly I didn't like the floor colour because I painted it more than once some it started to become darker which i don't like, also after doing this I decided not to paint the floor blue and do just the walls which i think it will be much better. Furthermore I tried to colour the glass partition a light, blue but it didn't work with me so I left it as it was. To add, the blue I used for the walls is too dark which, I will change to be much lighter.

This is the second sketch and I will acrylic markers this time.

For this sketch, I loved the colour of the furniture. My experiment with an acrylic marker was not easy, as it was too heavy which made the colour so dark and heavy. Anyway I loved the colour of this floor with the walls.

here is another try using acrylic markers.

These are some of my ideas of my interior design that I will be doing, and this experiment class helped me alot to know what to do for the last design.
