Two Point Perspective Drawing: Skills week

on this class I've learned how to draw Two point perspective.

Firstly the materials that I used to make this perspective drawing are a Ruler, HB pencil, Eraser. pencil sharpener. However before starting any two point perspective drawing we need two vanishing point, so I start drawing a horizontal line 14cm from the bottom of the page ( halfway point of my sheet of paper across the whole sheet) and I didn't make my line to heavy so i can remove rub out when i am finished.  ( I forget to take the fist process picture).

I then make a two mark at either at the end of my horizon line on the edge of my page and, and these are my Left and Right hand Vanishing point.

Step 3, I draw a vertical line 23cm from the left of my paper, it is 10cm long, 4 cm below the line, and 6 cm above, and this will be my meeting point of my interior walls. Then I draw two lines one goes from my right hand VP connects to the top of my perpendicular line and then goes to the left hand edge of my page, and I did  the same for my left hand VP, also i did the same to connect to the bottom of my perpendicular line.

I start adding my interiors, firstly i added the base of the bed, the lines of the base should all meet my VP. and any vertical line should go straight. I then added the inset cupboard/wardrobe behind the bed. I then added the windows on the right hand side of my room 4 cm apart, and the whole window extend 15cm. Then I start drawing the mattress on top of the base and the headboard starting with a vertical lines and then adding my perspective lines to my VP points.

continue to add the furniture all lines are meeting the VP points. and a rug that runs under the bed. After that I rub out any lines that are inside my objects, and this will bring them forward and make them look solid

After adding the interior I will be practice using acrylic marker or watercolours to paint this, and to develop my skills for my AP1 portfolio sketches.
