2D sketches

After doing all my 2d sketches I am happy with the outcome where I have improved my 2 point perspective drawing a lot, but there is a problem which is the floor, after I finished the drawing I realized the the floor is not following the vanishing point which made it look not nice. Furthermore, some of the sketches were good but the painting is not for example the living room i tried to use acrylic marker which what I used for most of the drawing but it is to heavy which makes the details not shown. To add, by doing these drawing it gave me good ideas about what add or what change or even what to remove, for instance the rug in the living room after the sketches I decided to remove it because it makes the place more crowded and makes the space smaller.  All on all I think I need more practice using markers and watercolour to improve my sketches outcome.

the sofas is deep blue but i colored it with a lighter hue to keep the features of the sofa seeable

for example here in i think the rug makes the place more crowded and i think it will be better without the rug.

  1. As we discussed, have a look at how to render wood, you can use pencil crayons to get a lighter effect or acrylic markers to add a more professional finish. Remember all your lines will meet at the vanishing point in one point perspective. This includes all the planks of the wooden floor.
