The process of doing a 3D model is not easy and i have faced a lot of difficulties while doing it, to have a good result i had to be so accurate with everything and that's was the hardest thing is to be accurate, For example doing the layout I repeated this process twice because I was not accurate with the measurements. Additionally, I have runned more than 3 furniture because of the glue type, so after the first attempt I tried 3 types of glue to see which one is the best, Super Glue was the worst glue and didn't go well with most of the furniture, PVA Glue works only with wood stuff other than that i did use it for anything even I glued the layout with wood adhesive glue to make it more stable, Bostik Glue was the best And I used it after the other attempts, this glue is all purpose and clear glue.
doing most of the furniture was hard but i think the most hardest one was doing the sofa, because if a small mistake with the measurement will ruin all the model and the sofa by it self. doing this gives me the opportunity to learn using different mediums and to be more depth in interior design and measuring which i need to bring the 2d to a 3d model which was really nice thing to do. However, managing my time was hard to do the 4 areas which are bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen includes the garden but i put myself under pressure and i started doing it in the end of week 5 after doing my plan and deciding what exactly i will do i started to source my materials and in the beginning of six i started doing my furniture and the layout as well. However, the furniture was worth it and it come out well.
firstly i cut the wallpaper according to the wooden pieces then I stuck them to the wooden template by using mount spray
using adhesive wood glue in the wood workshop i glued all the pieces together and I left them for 1 day to make sure they stay stable. Then from the wood workshop i used thin wood to make the garden area as seen in the photo 8cm for the length and 3.5 width. In the right wood piece i did a small hole at the top of it so I can put the light in. Furthermore, i bought a window frames and i cut transparent acrylic for the window and i glue them in the back of the frame.
then I used dried grass and I start to put it inside using clear glue
by using air dry clay I did two small pots for the flowers and I coloured them with warm gray and I glue the flowers inside the pot as seen in the photos.
i did two wall trees and I glue then to the wall inside the wall garden then i added more grass after I added everything.
After cutting the window I glue it to the front of the mini garden then I added the big window for the living room
I started to make the chair for the table, i used paper and i covered it with black fabric and for the seat I did black and white fabric and then i glue them together
and I started to put them inside the model as it seen in the picture.
slowly I started to add the furniture and organising them inside the model.
I started to make the head of the bed first

The bed come out well but i think if i could have more from the off white fabric to make everything match it could come out better but, so i used white fabric instead and i match the mattress with head of the bed.
i put the books inside the book shelf
i used 4.5 gold wire and i found a gold base from the sewing box in my home so i used it to make a base for the bath
i started to put the bathroom inside the model where i measured 8.8 for the width for the bathroom and the rest will be for the bedroom and a small office if i had time.
to do some of the furniture and decoration i used a good quality printer and i printed what i need and i cutted it them glue it to the piece.
Did you do some experimenting with colour and design Nada? Can you post the images of your drawings that you made?
