Experiment part 2

I did some experiments using soft coloured pencils to render the wood I will use in my AP1 project. However, I made four blocks of wood and used three shades of brown, using a soft coloured pencil. For the first block, I put some pressure on the pencil to get a more profound block, and I left some small parts light brown so they wouldn't be so heavy. Doing this experiment allowed me to get more depth in my materials and gave me a better look at my project. My experiment was great and easy, where I learned how to use new colouring materials.

The second block is more lighter than the first one where I was experimenting with doing the render wood with light tones of brown and i did come out well, furthermore, in the third block i did the same but with different texture where it is one of the texture that i found while i was looking on my 3d model floor so i did it using colour pencil.

On my 2D perspective drawing, I had a problem drawing the floor where they were following the VP, so with the help of my tutor, I learned how to remove it correctly. So, I did a quick sketch rendering wood inside a perspective drawing, and it came out better than my old sketches.

then i did the same but with different colors in the first block i used brown and blue and i blend them together. The soft colour pencils let me  layer and combine colours, making the wood look more natural and textured, than using water colours and acrylic markers
